Genesis Returns is here, and boxes are being cracked. It will be interesting to se what shows up at ClashCon 2024, where I hope to bring a few gimmicks.
With the release came also an article pointing out som interesting bits, and maybe some signs to what will come in future sets.

Universes Beyond could be Alpha Clash..

The resent MagicCon Las Vegas revealed some of the future of Magic the gathering. and I do think that it was good news... if not for Magic, then it might be for Alpha Clash.
The introduction of TCG's into other IP's fan bases, could be the starting point for them to explorer the game space. And if you like super heroes more than anime and high fantasy, then there aren't that many options.
Alpha Clash really offers a lot of what is missing in Magic and other games.
so Rising Empire Studio, keep the lore, the stories, the comic books, the novels, the board game and all the rest of the world building coming. And enjoy Magic getting a grip on new players, spilling over to us.

Is there more in the box?

I started this podcast, and opening Alpha Clash boosters and all the rest of it, because I wanted more Alpha Clash content that I could enjoy.
Just about a year ago, there where hardly anything. But now the community and the amount of people making content is growing.

Is that to rare?

A little bit more meta than usual, but I hope you'll enjoy the episode anyway.
It's a debate on what can happen when rarity is deployed less good, and that I see some of it in Alpha Clash.
It is still a great game though, no arguments there.

I have made a tier list with the new Contenders from Genesis Returns. But maybe I messed up with Moxie??
the video will be out I a few days, so you can go and tell me then.
Before then, you should vote on which art I should go with, for a give away booster pack, that I plan to bring to Clash Con.

Is it to much new stuff??

Genesis Returns is getting close, arriving next month.
Since I haven't had a chance to see the pre release from Clashgrounds Miami, or any of the Alpha Clash gameplay from there, this episode is about the new mechanics in the upcoming set.

Ramp or diminish - blue is out

The board game Cosmic Conquest has opened it's crowdfunding campaign on Gamefound.
The game is looking good, and so are the add-on options.

And spoiler keep coming for the trading card game. The world of Alpha Clash is going to have to accept that Genesis Returns with some powerful new interactions.
Ressource shenanigans is a thing now, and it looks like it is going to matter.
Diminish strategies are also getting more viable, with more LINN support. Blue is looking good now.
